Through our study and research, we have understood the issue of LGBTI defenders and problems facing by them in their day to day life. While preparing Manual, we have carried out research and study about condition of LGBTI defenders in other parts of the world also. The idea of preparing Manual came before 2 and half years when he had consultation with Mr. Sunil Babu Pant of Blue Diamond Society. Thereafter, in the course of preparing manual wide consultation and discussion have been held with different like minded people and representative of LGBTI organizations, human rights defenders among others. This Manual is a tool which LGBTI defenders can use for their protection mechanism. While reading Manual, readers found that it is the thing that they told already.  Thus, it is their own Manual. This Manual touches on the rights lesbian, bisexual women and transgender people from rural areas who experience isolation and unemployment due to being cut off from the existing social networks. The Manual provides information about the issues of sexual violence and family violence against LGBTI people and suggests recommendations to improve the situation. The Manual has specific focus on the rights of transgender people who need special attention due to high level of violence and discrimination against them. It also sheds light on taking precaution while disseminating information E-mail or other kind of electronic Medias.

The major obstacles that the LGBTI community face in having their rights considered "real" human rights is that violations against the community are largely considered to be carried out by private actors or by state or non-state actors as private acts. The regional and international networks need to be developed to pressure regional governmental bodies-where they exist- into action on amending constitutions and working practices that will provide for the protection of the LGBTI community. Region wide declarations need to be drawn up in order to hold individual countries to account when failing to protect their LGBTI communities.

Many women rights defenders are arguing that they are marginalized from mainstream of development. NHRC, British Embassy, previous and current UN Human Rights Special Representative have showed their concern towards the problems facing by LGBTI defenders. This manual suggests policy makers to address the problem of LGBTI defenders. We have tried our best to address the LGBTI problems in Nepal. This Manual has also raised the issue which is not protected by law. And it is also for those stakeholders which are working for human rights defenders. The fundamental rights, freedoms and respect of LGBTI defenders should be protected.
